Pi Alpha Phi colonizes at North Carolina State University

June 22, 2011 Pi Alpha Phi Fraternity is proud to announce its new colony at North Carolina State University. This colonization is the result of months of collaboration between the leadership of Pi Alpha Phi, university officials, and these 15 men. These men are ready to learn the values and core principles of our organization and build a fraternity that exemplifies the best of Pi Alpha Phi's mission. The Founding Fathers, half of whom will be sophomores this Fall, boast an average 3.2 GPA. Each of these men have impressed us through their work during the past Spring semester, completion of their membership application, and through a formal interview process. Director of Expansion Sang Shin will personally lead the process to educate the new members about the Fraternity's values, history, organizational structure, and what it means to be a lifelong member of Pi Alpha Phi. Most people think an ‘expansion’ is to simply show up, hand out a few flyers, and hope that guys want to join. But this is not about one group of guys at one point in time, it is about building something that thrives forever. Pi Alpha Phi is committed to our pillars of Academic Excellence, Leadership, Lifetime Brotherhood, Philanthropy, and Asian American Awareness.
